Thoughts on recycling

This is my final post for this blog. So, I will be sharing with you guys a little about recycling and stuff and my thoughts. We have too much in life that we always take it for granted. We waste without knowing. I’ll give you a few examples
1)   Tissue paper. They are plenty everywhere. Be it at home, restaurant or toilet. People waste it by playing with it. Using more than it is needed. When the demand goes up, especially when people want them, the more they produce. Tissue paper come from trees. So it kills even more trees and more waste will be created
2)Paper, plastic cups and disposables used by café and almost everywhere.
It is not difficult to waste resources but it is difficult to gain them. Many people now live in comfort that is why you guys do not know the harship of gaining resoures. There are many ways where you can minimise wastage. Use handkerchief instead of tissues, bring a tumbler instead of using disposable when going to café. All these little things doesn’t waste much money plus they are saving resources. So what is your opinion on this? Leave it in the comments section below.

Four steps for a successful DIY at home

1. Reuse and recycle

Everything does not have to be new to make your home improvement successful. Think before removing things from your home, consider reassigning a role to an old piece of furniture which you do not need or want to refurnish with some simple DIY.

2. Knowing your limits

Know your limits before tackling a project. Not everyone is comfortable with operating power tools, or working on plumbing and electric. Discover what you have interest in and like to do, and go with that.

3. Watch and learn

Learn from videos or even better, by direct observation. The minute you think you know it all, you will realize that there is something new to add to the product or even remove unnecessary parts from it.

4. Become eco-friendly

By Reusing things that can be used more then once or putting them into your recycling bin and make sure the contents are collected when full. Or instead , compost organic waste in your garden to become fertilizer instead of sending it to a landfill or incinerator. By doing this, you would be giving back to the environment and having a compost pile which will improve your soil quality for your garden.

After reading the sharing, do you agree with the four statements?

Please comment/ provide feedback on the post as your responses are valuable towards us and it will be truly appreciated :) Thank you in advance!!

Make accessories with your old fabrics!

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THIS VIDEO

If you have lots of old clothing at home, then you should watch this video!
This video shows you how to make accessories like bracelets and rings with just some elastic bands and fabrics!
It's very simple and easy to do.
From your old clothes, you could cut out small pieces of fabric not much bigger than a coin, and use them as she did in the video.

Thanks a lot for reading this post!
I hope you all enjoy it once again.
It will really help a lot if you leave a comment below! :)

Benefits of DIY

1. An appreciation for the things you have and the systems that make it possible.

If you make things yourself is discover how challenging and time-consuming it can be to make them , you will be more observant of it. I personally tend observe how each product that I use is made and by paying close attention to the craftsmanship of the object, I can use it to apply to my own projects.

2. Expanding creativity and knowledge.

There is a sense of achievement you will get from making something with your own bare hands which would be priceless if it takes a very long period of time and it is obvious that people learn faster from hands-on experience than they do watching someone else do something, therefore I encourage all of you to try out new ideas or even follow our tutorials so that you can learn about the benefits of DIY much quicker so as to generate new ideas and solve major problems of the world like the limited amount of land we have or even reducing the rate of global warming.

3. Expanding social network and getting closer.

When I started doing my own DIY projects, I found many other people online and found that they are very selfless to share ideas and advice about building many things with recycled materials without expecting payment from readers. This shows that there are people around the world that really want to help make lives easier and share the exploits they found so that others can use the ideas and benefit from it.

4. Building by personal preference.

Most people that do many DIY projects have learnt not to rely so much on corporations to take care of them based on products. Even if you have no desire to become a full-time DIYer , if you have experience in doing DIY, you can provide a certain degree of freedom from products as you can change the way it works and maybe even improve the idea further.

After explaining the benefits of DIY , would you be keen in becoming a passive DIYer or an active one?

Why or why not?

Please comment/ provide feedback on the post as your responses are valuable towards us and it will be truly appreciated :) Thank you in advance!!
